Recipe Notes
German Chocolate Cake
January 1, 2019

I don't know why it took more than 20 years to make this recipe again, but I'm sure glad I did. This German Chocolate Cake is delicious! The recipe posted is the recipe I had on my 3 x 5 cards, which I believe it is probably an older version of the Baker's German Chocolate Cake recipe. The current wrapper on the Baker's German Sweet Chocolate Bar has a slightly different version of the recipe. In the newer version, the amount of flour is reduced to 2 cups, and the eggs are separated, with the whites beaten separately before adding to batter. I am quite happy with my older version.
